Russian products and beverages are present for the first time at the Gourmet Expo Forum in Italy

At the prestigious international restaurant and hospitality industry exhibition Gourmet Expo Forum 2018, which was opened on June 10 in Turin, Italy, the Russian food and beverages are being represented within the festival “Discover Russian Cuisine” at the Lingotto Fiere exhibition venue for the first time.


Participation in international exhibitions and demonstration-tasting events is part of the priority program “Export of agricultural products”, which is being implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia in conjunction with the Russian Export Center aimed at promoting and popularizing Russian agricultural products in foreign markets.
The best Russian chefs using authentic Russian products and new preparation techniques, including Arthur Ovchinnikov, the brand chef of the Chefshows by Novikov culinary school, the 2015 gold medalist of the most prestigious chef competition Bocuse d'Or, are operating here to be appreciated by global HoReCa experts and gastronomical fans.Arthur Ovchinnikov, Chef of the restaurant “Pies of Wine and Goose” Alexander Zhurkin, the finalist of the international contest “Taste of the World with Etihad 2016” Vitaly Tikhonov, chef and founder of the Krasnodar restaurants “The Furnace” and “Coals of Anguilla” Andrey Matyukha, brand chef of “Zuma” restaurant from Vladivostok Egor Anisimov are starring. The team of chefs is headed by the president of “Bocuse d'or Russia”, owner and chef of the Moscow restaurant “Honest cuisine” Sergei Eroshenko.
Major Russian companies are presenting their product line within the enomarket: Kuban Wine, Kuban Wine Company, Fanagoria are flashing the best wines of domestic production.
The European semi-final of the World Cup for confectionery art “Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie” features the chief confectioner of the “White Rabbit” restaurant Valeria Sidorova, who is speaking for Russia in the “Caramel” nomination, whilst the chef confectioner of Suzdal Svetlana Tupitsyna is competing for the “Chocolate”.
On June 12 the Russian team participates in the European semifinal of the international chef competition “Bocuse d'Or”. It is especially worth noting that during the exhibition the visitors of the Eataly food venue and famous Turin restaurant “Birichin” are welcome to taste the author's sets from Russian chefs made of the best and unique Russian products.
